We know you have many choices when it comes to your philanthropic investments. We work hard on your behalf to invest your money where it matters—detecting cancer earlier, improving treatments and quality of life, and reducing the risk. All of our investments are focused on achieving the impact and measurable outcomes that are important to you, so you know your dollar is well invested.

We delivered a smaller version of an annual report that we hope still demonstrated the big impact you enabled us to make. We will continue to work tirelessly on your behalf moving forward. We have a challenging mission ahead of us, but it is one that is worthy of you, and the thousands of Albertans who are touched by cancer.

Here is how in the next few years—with your help—we will continue to make life better for Albertans facing cancer.

We will increase our investments in early diagnosis, an area known to have significant impact on treatment outcomes.

We will partner with other organizations and industries to leverage your dollar, and make it go even further.

We will continue to invest in clinical trials, the backbone of innovation in cancer discovery and care, including a pilot project that will see this clinical research take place in Red Deer, Medicine Hat and Lethbridge.

We will increase our investment to enhance patient care at all cancer centres across the province, as these programs impact patients and families immediately, when they need it most.

We will identify innovative philanthropic opportunities that will allow us to make the biggest impact on our mission.

We will continue to work with patients and their families to determine priorities for investment that have the greatest potential for improving outcomes.
